Senzoukria v0.89.0 release notes

Nobody wrote reviewed notes for this version. What follows is the release body as published on GitHub, unedited.

  • v0.89.0: SZ VWAP, Renko bricks, TradingView chart styles, history in seconds
  • SZ VWAP: a new VWAP in Indicators, next to the usual one, which stays as it was. It is computed on every price actually traded in the footprint, with bands that hold 68, 95 and 99 % of the volume (or classic σ bands), the average price of buyers and of sellers, the share of volume above the VWAP, the VWAP of previous sessions until price touches it again, and VWAPs anchored on the previous session's high and low. Anchor by session, week, month, 3 or 7 days, or custom minutes. Every line and band has its own color, width, style, opacity and axis label. It measures and shows; it gives no signals.
  • You stay signed in when our servers are down: a Senzoukria server outage no longer sends you back to the sign-in screen after 30 minutes. Your session holds for up to 24 hours while our servers are unavailable and renews by itself when they are back. If your own network is cut, the usual 30 minutes still apply.
  • Settings opens again: since v0.88.0, opening Settings could crash the page with "Cannot read properties of undefined". Fixed.
  • History shows up in seconds: when days are missing, the chart now draws the broker's candles first (a 7-day chart in a few seconds), then fills in the footprint cells as the ticks arrive. The loading band counts the bars that really have their cells, instead of a clock-based percentage. The first load of a busy week still takes a few minutes on Rithmic's side; after that it opens from your computer.
  • Correct broker candles: Rithmic's minute candles were placed one minute late and their delta had the wrong sign. Both are fixed, checked minute by minute against the tick replay.
  • Renko bricks: new bar type next to Range (timeframe menu, Bar type, Renko). A brick closes when price moves N ticks with the trend, or 2N against it, and each brick keeps its real trades and footprint.
  • Chart styles: footprint type menu, Chart style. Bars, Candles, Hollow candles, Volume candles, Line, Line with markers, Step line, Area, HLC area, Baseline, Columns, High-Low and Heikin Ashi. The chart keeps that style at any zoom, on every bar type (time, ticks, range, Renko), while your other charts keep their footprint.
  • Footprint up close, your style from afar: with the Footprint style, pick how bars look once you zoom out (Candles, Hollow candles, Volume candles, Bars, High-Low or Heikin Ashi). Zoom in and the cells come back.
  • Switching bar types no longer waits: going from one Renko size to another (or between tick, volume, range and delta bars) left the old one loading its past days, and the new chart stayed blank or frozen behind it. The old load now stops as soon as no chart shows it. Measured: the new chart went live after 37 seconds instead of 143.
  • History checked against Rithmic: tick history arrives in batches of about 10,000 trades, and the end of the second where a batch stopped was never asked for again. On a busy hour, 23 minutes out of 60 had less volume than Rithmic (up to 12 % on one minute). Fixed, and after each load the app now compares your minute bars with Rithmic's own and reloads, without a click, the minutes that are missing or differ. Minutes already saved on your computer are repaired over the next sessions, a few hours at a time.
  • 1-minute chart after Renko: coming back from a Renko chart to 1 minute showed only the bars since the chart opened. It reads the whole session again.
  • Heatmap and DOM keep their order book: after switching contracts and back, the order book was never asked for again. The heatmap and DOM froze on an old copy ("L2 not received", empty DOM profile and walls, spreads of several points on MNQ). Fixed, and a book that goes silent for 10 seconds is no longer used. On NQ, an incomplete order-by-order feed is now set aside within 5 seconds instead of minutes.
  • Footprint zoom: the price axis now zooms out about ten times further; once rows get thinner than a pixel, your zoom-out style takes over. Renko cells now cover the whole brick when the price moves above a held price scale.
  • Best bid and ask lines in live mode: when the price scale followed the market and a price briefly left the screen, the lines lost a few seconds of their path. They now run to the edge and come back.
  • Heatmap toolbar fits the window: the DOM button no longer goes off screen; when space runs out, the chips move into Layers.
  • No more stutter with footprint heatmaps: with the GEX and level memory heatmaps on, charts froze for up to half a second several times a minute, worst on Renko, tick and range bars. Measured on the same chart: 6 freezes in 20 seconds before, none in 30 seconds after.
  • Order book, heatmap and DOM: orders already filled no longer linger in the book, levels a trade went through are removed, and the book is checked against Rithmic's best bid and ask. Big trades line up with the book again.
  • Heatmap without market depth: on a data plan without depth (L2), the heatmap now shows trades, bubbles and best bid/ask, and says that no market depth is arriving, instead of waiting on "Connecting".
  • Crypto charts: BTC and other busy pairs scroll smoothly. The chart draws every update directly and the rest of the screen refreshes four times a second.
  • Regular hours profiles: the Volume Profile and Delta Profile can be limited to regular hours (08:30 to 15:00 CT).
  • Clearer messages: "Trading is disabled" now says where to turn it on (the Orders switch on the connection card), and the footprint tells you when rows are too thin to print their numbers and how to fix it.
  • History interrupted midway keeps the minutes already received, and the bridge problem report now includes its diagnostic.
