Footprint Software for Apex: Rithmic or NinjaTrader

Apex Trader Funding hands you two things when you pass: a NinjaTrader login and a set of Rithmic credentials. Either one is enough to put footprint charts on your Apex account. Senzoukria connects both ways — directly through Rithmic, or through a NinjaTrader bridge that reads your existing feed locally — and it sends only what you decide — manual orders from the ticket, or a strategy autopilot you armed explicitly. Check Apex’s automation rules before arming anything.

Apex Trader Funding is one of the largest futures prop firms, and it sets up new traders with NinjaTrader by default while also issuing Rithmic credentials. That is actually good news for charting: it means you have two separate doors into the same feed, and a footprint platform only needs one of them. Senzoukria opens either.

Two ways to put footprint on your Apex account

PathWhat you doWhen to pick it
NinjaTrader bridgeDrop one NinjaScript file into the NinjaTrader Apex already gave youYou already run NinjaTrader and want no extra credentials
Rithmic directSign in with the Rithmic username / password / system name from ApexYou want to skip NinjaTrader, or you are on macOS / Linux

The NinjaTrader bridge

Because Apex ships NinjaTrader, the fastest path is to reuse it. You install a small NinjaScript bridge file, and Senzoukria reads the feed NinjaTrader is already receiving — locally, sub-5ms, with no additional broker login. Nothing new to authenticate, nothing routed anywhere off your machine. Your footprint, heatmap and DOM render from the exact feed your NinjaTrader chart sees.

Rithmic direct

If you would rather not keep NinjaTrader open — or you trade on a Mac or Linux machine where NinjaTrader does not run — sign in with your Apex-issued Rithmic credentials instead. Senzoukria speaks Rithmic's R|Protocol natively, so it connects to Rithmic without NinjaTrader in the picture at all. Same charts, one fewer app running.

Check the execution rules for your account

Senzoukria supports manual orders on eligible broker connections and optional strategy autopilot after explicit arming. The local data bridge and the direct broker connection have different capabilities. Confirm your firm permits the connection and any automation you intend to use. Read our order-flow software and prop-firm rules guide.

What you get, and what it costs

One flat plan at $29/month covers footprint (bid/ask, delta, imbalance, absorption), the liquidity heatmap, DOM and the GEX suite — no per-feature tiers, a $9 first month · $29 after, locked for life. Your market-data entitlement still comes from Apex/Rithmic; the app is what turns that feed into a footprint.

Chart your Apex feed download Senzoukria and connect via the NinjaTrader bridge or Rithmic direct, or check pricing. $9 first month, then $29. Also compare it against ATAS and Quantower.

Frequently asked questions

What footprint software works with an Apex account?
Apex Trader Funding provides NinjaTrader by default and issues Rithmic credentials, so any footprint platform that reads a Rithmic feed or a NinjaTrader feed works. Senzoukria does both: it connects to your Apex account directly via Rithmic, or through a NinjaTrader bridge that reads the feed you already run locally — footprint, liquidity heatmap and DOM at $29/month flat.
Do I need extra credentials to use Senzoukria with Apex?
No, if you use the NinjaTrader bridge. Apex already gives you NinjaTrader; you drop one NinjaScript file into it and Senzoukria reads that same local feed — no second broker login. If you prefer to skip NinjaTrader entirely, you can instead sign in with the Rithmic username, password and system name Apex issued, and connect to Rithmic directly.
Is footprint software allowed on a funded Apex account?
Reading market data and charting it is fine — that is what every charting tool does. What prop firms restrict is automated order execution. Senzoukria supports manual orders from the chart and an optional strategy autopilot that reaches the account only after explicit arming, with a contract cap, a daily loss limit and a STOP. Whether automation is allowed depends on your Apex rules and account: confirm them before arming anything. See our prop-firm rules guide for the details.
How much does it cost on top of Apex?
A flat $29/month, with a $9 first month · $29 after, locked for life. That covers footprint, delta, imbalance, absorption, the liquidity heatmap, DOM and the GEX suite — one plan, no per-feature tiers. Your Apex data entitlement is separate and comes from Apex/Rithmic, not from us.
