MBT contract specifications
The trading unit is 0.1 bitcoin, valued on the CME CF Bitcoin Reference Rate (BRR). The minimum increment is $5 per bitcoin, equal to $0.50 per contract (intermonth spreads trade in $1 steps). Delivery is by cash settlement on the reference rate published at 4 p.m. London time on the last trading day. Senzoukria's contract table holds the same tick and multiplier on the CME venue code.
MBT last trading day and next contracts
Trading ends at 4 p.m. London time on the last Friday of the contract month if that day is a business day in the UK or the US; if it is a business day in neither, trading ends on the preceding day that is a business day in either.
On September 25, 2026 the picker already defaults to MBTV6 and still lists MBTU6 with an "exp" badge until September 25, 2026, the last day its engine gives that contract. For MBTV6, the default moves to the next listed month on October 26, 2026 (4 calendar days before October 30, 2026), and MBTV6 stays selectable with its badge until that date.
December 25, 2026 is Christmas Day, so the exchange calendar puts the MBTZ6 last trading day on December 24, 2026. Senzoukria's expiry engine counts Monday to Friday without a holiday table and uses December 25, 2026 instead, so its picker keeps MBTZ6 listed until then.

MBT tick value and P&L arithmetic
- One tick = $5 × 0.1 = $0.50.
- A $100 move in bitcoin = 20 ticks = $10 per contract.
- The same $100 on BTC = $500 per contract.
- One tick of slippage in the automatic backtest costs $0.50 per contract on each entry.
Reading MBT order flow
With row resolution off, an MBT footprint has one row per $5 tick. The fixed steps give 2 ticks = 10, 4 ticks = 20, 8 ticks = 40, 16 ticks = 80, 32 ticks = 160 dollars per row. For comparison, Senzoukria's crypto screen groups the BTCUSDT pairs at a default step of $5, a display choice over a much finer exchange quote.
MBT shares BTC's $5 price increment at 0.1 bitcoin per contract, which is what makes it usable for small position sizes on the same price grid. It is a separate CME book from BTC, cash-settled on the same reference rate, and a separate market from the Binance and Bybit perpetuals.
Using MBT in Senzoukria
- Symbol picker on a Rithmic or Databento CME source: type MBT; on September 25, 2026 the listed contract is MBTV6 (October 2026), in the Crypto Futures (CME) family.
- The crypto screen (Binance Spot, Binance Perp, Bybit) is a separate, analysis-only surface; MBT is read through a futures connection, like ES or CL.
- Replay lists MBT in the Crypto (CME futures) group. In the automatic backtest, set Point value ($) to 0.1; the field defaults to 2.
