MYM contract specifications
The rulebook defines MYM as $0.50 times the Dow Jones Industrial Average, quoted in index points. The minimum increment is 1 point, equal to $0.50 per contract. Every tick is a full point, so one index point is worth $0.50. MYM is cash-settled: the expiring month settles to a special opening quotation of the index on the third Friday of the contract month. Senzoukria's contract table carries the same tick, multiplier and venue (CBOT); the simulated account, the picker's tick hint and the heatmap's price grid read them from it.
MYM expiry rule and next contracts
Trading in an expiring MYM contract ends at the regularly scheduled start of trading on the primary listing exchange on the day of the final settlement price, the third Friday of the contract month. If the index is not scheduled to be published that Friday, settlement moves to the first preceding business day on which it is.
June 18, 2027 is the observed Juneteenth holiday, so the exchange calendar puts the MYMM7 last trading day on June 17, 2027. Senzoukria's expiry engine counts Monday to Friday without a holiday table and uses June 18, 2027 instead, so its picker keeps MYMM7 listed until then. For MYMZ6, the default moves to the next listed month on December 10, 2026 (8 calendar days before December 18, 2026), and MYMZ6 stays selectable with its badge until that date.
| Contract | Delivery month | Last trading day |
|---|---|---|
| MYMZ6 | December 2026 | Dec 18, 2026 (Fri) |
| MYMH7 | March 2027 | Mar 19, 2027 (Fri) |
| MYMM7 | June 2027 | Jun 17, 2027 (Thu) |
| MYMU7 | September 2027 | Sep 17, 2027 (Fri) |
MYM tick value and P&L arithmetic
- 10 ticks (10 points) = 10 × $0.50 = $5 per contract.
- A 40-point stop is 40 ticks: 40 × $0.50 = $20 per contract, $60 on 3 contracts.
- The same 40 points on YM are worth $200 per contract.
- One tick of slippage, the automatic backtest's default, costs $0.50 per MYM contract on each entry.
Reading MYM order flow
With row resolution off, Senzoukria's default, an MYM footprint shows one row per index point, each cell holding the volume traded at the bid and at the ask at that exact price. The fixed choices give 2 ticks = 2, 4 ticks = 4, 8 ticks = 8, 16 ticks = 16, 32 ticks = 32 points per row; grouping keeps bar totals exact, but the POC then names a row instead of a price.
MYM has its own CBOT order book. It stops trading when the primary YM month is halted, but its prints and resting orders are MYM's alone: ten MYM equal one YM in point value, not in liquidity or queue position.
Because every tick is a whole Dow point, the price axis and the ladder show no decimals, and a footprint with grouping off already has one row per point. Wider fixed steps are useful only when the bars cover many points.
Using MYM in Senzoukria
- Symbol picker on a Rithmic or Databento CME source: type MYM; on September 25, 2026 the listed contract is MYMZ6 (December 2026).
- Heatmap and DOM show the book of that exact contract; the heatmap ladder header names the contract and its venue, CBOT.
- GEX overlay: levels computed from DIA options are converted to the MYM price with a spot ratio and labelled with the underlying ("CW · DIA"); an options data source is required.
- Replay lists MYM in the Indices group and replays the broker's tick history, without the order book. In the automatic backtest, set Point value ($) to 0.5; the field defaults to 2, the MNQ value.

Frequently asked questions
- How much is one MYM tick worth?
- $0.50. The tick is 1 index point and the contract is $0.50 times the Dow Jones Industrial Average, so 1 × $0.50 = $0.50; one full point is $0.50.
- When does MYMZ6 stop trading?
- At the scheduled start of trading on the primary listing exchange on December 18, 2026, the third Friday of December, according to the CME Group calendar. Senzoukria's picker moves its default to the next contract 8 calendar days earlier and keeps MYMZ6 selectable until that Friday.
- Is MYM listed on CME or CBOT?
- CBOT. Senzoukria reads the venue from its contract table and subscribes to MYM and YM with the CBOT code; the other equity index futures of the catalogue are on CME.
