Guided tour: Sen's 9-chapter, 28-step walkthrough with voice
The guided tour starts on its own the first time you open the connected app and walks through every screen with a spotlight, a bubble and a pre-recorded voice. It opens menus for you, waits for your gesture on some steps, and can be restarted at any time from the Guide page.

Where to find it
- Where
- Starts automatically 1.4 s after the first connected launch; restart from Guide → Guided tour → Start / Restart the guided tour
- Structure
- 9 chapters, 28 steps, across /, /account, /footprint, /heatmap, /trading, /ai, /settings, /scripting, /replay, /journal, /guide
- Voice
- On by default; pre-recorded neural clips for en, fr, es, it, zh, ru, ar
- Keyboard
- → or Enter = next, ← = back (both ignored while typing in a field); Esc closes the chapter list, otherwise skips the tour
What it does
The tour is an overlay mounted once under every connected route. At each step it navigates to the step's screen, waits up to 4 seconds for the target control marked in the interface, performs the step's actions (open the symbol picker, expand the timeframe menu, switch cells to bid × ask and zoom in three times, open the indicators modal), then spotlights the result and reads the text. The veil never blocks clicks: you can use the highlighted control while the bubble explains it. Only the bubble captures the mouse.
If a target cannot be found within the delay, the bubble centres itself and the tour continues rather than blocking on a control that is absent, for example because a chart pane has not finished loading. Leaving a step or a chapter runs its cleanup (closing what was opened, zooming back out), so the app is left as it was.
Progress is persisted. If you close the app in the middle, the tour resumes at the same step on the next launch. Finishing or skipping records the outcome; the tour then only returns through the Guide page.

Your-turn steps and voice
One step in the chart chapter hands over: the tour opens the indicators panel and shows Your turn — I'll continue as soon as it's done. It polls the chart's indicator count every 300 ms and, once you have switched one on, shows Done, moving on and advances by itself after about a second. A chart pane runs in its own frame; the tour reaches into visible same-origin frames for targets, hooks and conditions.
Voice is a single source: one pre-recorded neural clip per step and per language. There is no fallback to the system speech engine. A clip that fails to start is retried once after 250 ms; if it fails again, Sen stays silent and the text remains readable in the bubble. If the browser refuses to play audio before a click, the bubble shows a hint asking you to press ↻.
Limits and pitfalls
- The tour describes the interface; it does not connect a feed or place an order. The trading steps only point at the ticket and the Flatten button.
- Steps with actions need the control to be enabled; a symbol chip greyed out during a history import is waited for up to 4 seconds, then skipped.
- The voice toggle in the bubble is stored with the tour state, not with the Sounds preferences.

Frequently asked questions
- How do I run the tour again?
- Open the Guide page. The Guided tour card shows Start the guided tour the first time and Restart the guided tour afterwards. Starting resets to step 1 and increments the run counter.
- Why is there no voice in my language?
- Clips exist for the seven interface languages. If the Voice button is disabled, the current language has no clip; the bubble shows a hint and the text stays readable. The system speech engine is never used.
- Can I use the app while the tour is open?
- Yes. The veil lets clicks through and only the bubble captures the mouse. The next and back keys are ignored while focus is in a text field; Escape is not, so it still skips the tour from anywhere.
