Quick ticket on the chart
The quick ticket is a compact order bar pinned to the chart: last price, a sell and a buy button, the shared quantity between them, two touch-limit buttons and a flatten control. It exists in a live version and a simulated version.

What it does
The bar shows LAST and the current price, then a sell button, the quantity with minus and plus steppers, and a buy button. Underneath, three preset buttons set the quantity to 1, 2 or 5 in one click, and a flatten button appears carrying the open side and size; with nothing open it reads "Flat" instead. A handle collapses the bar to a single tab and expands it again.
The quantity is not local to the bar. A single shared, saved quantity is used by the quick ticket, the trading panel and the chart's context menu, so the number of contracts you set in one place is the number that leaves from all of them. It is clamped between 1 and 20 as a typing guard: a 70 typed instead of a 7 cannot be sent.
The live bar adds two touch-limit buttons that carry their price on the button face, so you see where the order rests before clicking. Its flatten closes the instrument in front of you, not the account: the bar is glued to one chart, and a button liquidating positions off screen would be a trap. Account-wide flattening stays in the account panel where everything is visible.
Colours follow the chart. The buy and sell buttons take the ask and bid colours of the footprint unless an explicit override is set in the trading settings, so a repainted orderflow does not end up with two buttons from another palette stuck on it.
Settings
| Setting | Default | What it changes |
|---|---|---|
| Quick ticket on the chart | on | Shows or hides the bar on the chart |
| Quantity | 1 | Shared and saved; clamped between 1 and 20, and further capped by the broker guard when one is reported |

| Buy / sell colours | the chart's ask and bid colours | Overridden by the quick-ticket colour settings when they are filled in |

| Flatten scope (live bar) | this instrument | Closes the position on the chart's symbol only |
How to use it
- Set the size with the presets or the steppers; the same number will be used by the ticket and the context menu.
- Use the market buttons to cross the spread, or the touch-limit buttons to join the queue at the displayed price.
- Watch the blocking line at the bottom: it names the reason nothing can be sent, such as no live broker connection, trading disabled on the profile, no account feed, or waiting for a live tick.
- Collapse the bar with the handle when it covers price action; it reopens from the same tab.
Limits and pitfalls
The touch-limit prices are one tick either side of the last trade, not the real top of book: the price store used by the bar does not carry the order book. A limit placed this way rests at that price, which may not be the true best bid or ask.
A confirmation dialog appears only when the backend guard asks for it; the product default is a single click. On a funded connection the dialog adds a warning that a fill affects your real drawdown.
The simulated bar drives the local evaluation account only. It applies the same evaluation guards as the simulated panel, so a shortcut cannot bypass an exposure cap or a finished losing day.
For crypto instruments the application is analysis only: no orders are placed on crypto from any surface.

Frequently asked questions
- Why does my quantity reset to a different value elsewhere?
- It should not. The quantity is one shared, saved value used by the quick ticket, the trading panel and the chart context menu. If a surface disagrees, that is a defect worth reporting.
- Why is the maximum quantity 20?
- Twenty is the cap both original surfaces already applied, and raising it while unifying them would have been a safety regression nobody asked for. Real risk limits are enforced separately by the account guards.
- Does Flatten on the bar close every position?
- No. On the live bar it closes the chart's instrument only. Use the flatten control in the account panel to act on the whole account.
