6E contract specifications
The trading unit is 125,000 euros, quoted in U.S. dollars per euro. The minimum fluctuation on CME Globex is $0.00005 per euro, equal to $6.25 per contract; two ticks make one pip of $0.0001. Open contracts are settled by physical delivery of the currency on the third Wednesday of the contract month. Senzoukria's contract table holds the same tick and multiplier.
6E last trading day and next contracts
Trading ends on the second business day preceding the third Wednesday of the contract month. The rulebook adds two euro-specific adjustments: if the last trading day is not separated from the delivery day by at least one business day of the Eurosystem settlement system, or is a bank holiday in Chicago or New York, trading ends on the preceding common business day.
For 6EZ6, the default moves to the next listed month on December 10, 2026 (4 calendar days before December 14, 2026), and 6EZ6 stays selectable with its badge until that date. The exchange calendar also lists other months (F, G, J, K, N, Q, V, X); Senzoukria's catalogue uses H, M, U, Z to choose its default contract.

6E tick value and P&L arithmetic
- One tick = $0.00005 × 125,000 = $6.25.
- 20 pips ($0.002) = 40 ticks = $250 per contract.
- On 3 contracts, the same move is $750.
- The same 20 pips on M6E are $25 per contract.
Reading 6E order flow
With row resolution off, a 6E footprint has one row per $0.00005 tick. The fixed steps give 2 ticks = $0.0001, 4 ticks = $0.0002, 8 ticks = $0.0004, 16 ticks = $0.0008, 32 ticks = $0.0016 per row. Grouping keeps totals exact but the POC then names a row, not a price.
6E's tick is half a pip, so two ticks make one pip of $12.50 and the fixed 2-tick row step turns the footprint into one row per pip. Its micro, M6E, trades on a coarser grid: the rulebook gives M6E a full-pip tick, so the two books do not even share price levels one for one. They are separate markets on the same exchange rate.
Using 6E in Senzoukria
- Symbol picker on a Rithmic or Databento CME source: type 6E; on September 25, 2026 the listed contract is 6EZ6 (December 2026), in the Currencies family.
- Replay lists 6E in the Currencies group. In the automatic backtest, set Point value ($) to 125,000, the dollar value of a move of one dollar per euro; the field defaults to 2.
- CME currency futures are a different market from spot forex: centralized book, exchange volume and a delivery date. Senzoukria reads them through a futures connection, not through a forex broker.

Frequently asked questions
- How much is one 6E tick worth?
- $6.25. The tick is $0.00005 per euro and the contract is 125,000 euros, so 0.00005 × 125,000 = $6.25.
- Is 6E quoted like EUR/USD spot?
- Yes in direction: 6E is quoted in U.S. dollars per euro, so it rises when the euro strengthens, like the EUR/USD spot quote. It is nevertheless a separate, centrally cleared futures market, with its own book and a delivery date.
