What it does
This tab mixes chart-store settings (magnet mode, quick ticket, labels, ranges, time zone) with the two backend trading guards, which it shows in the same place so a trader never has to leave the chart to change them. The guard controls write to the backend file shared by all windows; the others are persisted in the chart store on this machine.
The quick ticket is the compact BUY MKT / SELL MKT panel pinned on the chart, with a quantity stepper, LAST price and a Flatten button. Position labels are the LONG / SL / TP pills drawn on the chart's trading lines.
Settings
| Setting | Default | What it changes |
|---|---|---|
| Magnet mode (Crosshair snap) | None (free) | OHLC snap locks the price crosshair to bar OHLC levels; POC snap locks it to the point of control. Also cycled by the magnet toolbar button. |
| Mode (Order confirmation) | 1 click — send immediately | 2 clicks — confirm first shows the recap dialog before every submit. Backend guard. The order ticket and the quick ticket show the recap; the right-click menu asks only on Flatten. |
| Maximum order size (Contracts per order) | no limit | Whole number; orders above it are refused. Enter or blur commits. Backend guard. |
| Quick ticket on the chart | On | Shows or hides the pinned BUY/SELL market ticket |
| Quick ticket — buy / sell colours | Follow the chart colours (Ask / Bid) | Own colours for the two buttons; "Follow the chart colours" clears them |
| Position (Position labels) | Right | Left, Centre or Right placement of the LONG / SL / TP pill on its line |
| Range (History range) | 24 hours (today) | 3 days or 7 days of broker minute history |
| Crypto history and profiles | 6 months | 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months of Binance candles and price levels |
| Reload history | Button (broker charts) | Re-asks windows that came back empty; closes the modal so progress is visible on the chart |
| Timezone | Local (system) | UTC, New York, Chicago, London, Paris, Tokyo |
How to use it
For scalping from the chart, leave the quick ticket on, keep 1-click confirmation and set a maximum order size that matches your normal lot so a mistyped quantity is refused. For a slower workflow, choose 2 clicks: the recap dialog shows side, quantity, instrument, type and account before sending.
Give the quick ticket its own buy and sell colours when the chart palette makes the two buttons hard to tell apart on a stream; the button "Follow the chart colours" returns to the Ask and Bid colours.
Limits or pitfalls
- The Reload history section only appears when the connector drives its own broker history — Rithmic today. The NinjaTrader and Quantower bridges receive their history from the host, and crypto feeds have no broker window to reopen.
- Magnet mode is not part of chart templates and survives Reset to defaults; cycle it with the magnet button.
- The quick ticket waits for a live tick before it can send a market order ("Waiting for a live tick…").
- Crypto charts are analysis-only: no order is routed to an exchange from Senzoukria.

Frequently asked questions
- Why is the order confirmation in two places?
- Both the app Settings → Trading section and this tab edit the same backend guard. It is shown on the chart tab so a trader can switch modes without leaving the chart.
- How do I move the LONG / SL / TP pills off the candles?
- Trading Settings → Position labels → Position. Right is the default because that is where price and P&L already read; Left and Centre are available.
- Can the quick ticket be hidden?
- Yes, toggle "Quick ticket on the chart" off. The order ticket on the trading desk remains available.
