No “Update available” prompt in Senzoukria: pinned version or development build

What you see

A new version is published but no “Update available” prompt appears at start-up. On Account → Versions, the header may show “Pinned {version}” with “Automatic updates are off while a version is pinned.” and a “Resume automatic updates” link.

Why it happens

• A version is pinned: choosing “Install & pin” on the Versions card turns the startup check off, so a rollback is not undone at the next launch.
• The app runs from sources (a development build), which never checks for updates.
• The check failed silently: network errors, outages or a release without a published signature never block the start and do not show a prompt.
• You clicked “Remind me later”; the prompt comes back at a later start.

How to fix it

• Open Account → Versions and click “Resume automatic updates”, or install the newer build directly from the list.
• If the card says the running build is not the pinned one, the install did not complete; install again or resume automatic updates.
• Restart the app with a working connection to run the check again.
• Check the running version on the Account footer or the About page.

What it is not

• Not a blocked account: updates do not depend on the subscription check.
• Not a broken updater when a pin exists: that is the pin doing its job.

When to contact support

When none of this helps, write to support through Menu → Report a problem (it works without being signed in) or on the Senzoukria Discord. Include the running version, the pinned version if any, and the latest version listed on the card.
