Why doesn’t the pad use the last trade as bid/ask?

Because the last trade is not the book. Guessing a best bid or ask from it could send an order at a price the market no longer offers, so the cells stay off.

Do market orders need a fresh price too?

The 15-second rule applies to cells whose price is computed from the last price. The quick ticket waits for a live tick before it enables its buttons.

Senzoukria disables price-based order cells when it has no trustworthy price: no price seen yet, no qualified best bid and ask, or no new price for 15 seconds. It refuses to guess a price from an old trade.

What you see

Some cells of the order pad are disabled and their tooltip explains why: “No price seen yet.”, “No qualified best bid/ask on this panel — BID/ASK stay off rather than guess it from the last trade.”, or “No new price for 15 s (feed stale, reconnecting or quiet market) — price-based orders are off until a fresh price arrives.” The quick ticket may show “Waiting for a live tick…”.

Why it happens

Limit, stop and stop-limit cells are computed a number of ticks away from the last traded price. When that price is missing or older than 15 seconds, the computed order could be far from the market, so the cells turn off until a fresh price arrives. The BID/ASK cells need a qualified best bid and ask on the panel; the app will not infer them from the last trade.

A stale price has three ordinary causes, and the tooltip names them: the feed is stale, the connection is reconnecting, or the market is simply quiet.

How to fix it

Look at the connection badge and the chart’s status bar: if the feed is reconnecting, wait for LIVE.
Check the trading hours of the contract; outside them no new price arrives.
Make sure the chart shows the current front-month contract, since the pad trades what the chart shows.
If you need an exact price right now, the full ticket lets you type it (“Full ticket — exact price, time in force, risk sizing”).

What it is not

Not a trading permission problem: that case says “Trading is disabled on “{name}”.” instead.
Not a broker rejection: nothing was sent.

When to contact support

If the steps above do not change anything, send the case from Menu → Report a problem, or ask on the Senzoukria Discord. Mention the data source of the chart and whether its status bar showed LIVE while the cells stayed disabled.
