“The data provider is unavailable” on the Senzoukria Replay screen
When a Replay history request gets no answer while the CME is open, Senzoukria shows “Provider unavailable”: no new history can be downloaded right now, the cache is untouched, and the request goes through again once the provider answers.

What you see
In Replay → Prepare, after a failed load while the market is open, a card titled “The data provider is unavailable” with the badge “Provider unavailable”. Under “Why this screen has nothing new”: “No new history can be downloaded right now. Your cache and your charts are untouched, and the request goes through again as soon as the provider answers.” and “Measured: the history request got no answer from the provider. That is what is known — it establishes nothing about your credentials or your permissions.” The load error itself is shown above.
Why it happens
The card appears when a load fails while the CME clock says the market is open, so the closed-market explanation does not apply. The provider did not answer the history request: a maintenance window, an outage, a network problem between you and the gateway, or a history plant that is temporarily unavailable.
How to fix it
- Click “Check again” after a few minutes.
- Meanwhile, pick a session already on disk: sessions listed on the Replay screen load without the provider.
- Check the connection badge and your network; a VPN or firewall change can cut the gateway.
- Read the error line above the card: specific refusals (rp_code 13, no ticks for that day) have their own meaning.
What it is not
- Not a statement about your login or rights: the card says it establishes nothing about them.
- Not a loss of cached sessions.
When to contact support
When none of this helps, write to support through Menu → Report a problem or on the Senzoukria Discord. If it lasts for hours while other platforms load history normally, include the error line, the contract and the day you tried to load.

Frequently asked questions
- Can I replay anything while the provider is unavailable?
- Yes, any session already on disk, including sessions imported from Databento files.
- Does this mean my history subscription expired?
- No. The card states that a missing answer establishes nothing about credentials or permissions.
